Cosmetic Surgery and Fees

For cosmetic surgery consultations, a small fee is required at the time of your initial visit. This fee will be credited towards your procedure if you schedule surgery. Insurance companies will not defray the cost of cosmetic surgery.

Breast reconstruction is covered by law. Breast reduction coverage varies by insurance carrier and the specific provisions pertaining to breast reduction in your coverage plan. They mandate that a certain amount of tissue be removed from each breast, which is compared with your height and weight. Based on this information, your insurance carrier determines whether the amount to be removed will be covered.

If you are interested in breast reconstruction or breast reduction surgery but have a different insurance carrier, you can still have your procedure done by Dr. Isik. Patients who have other insurance carriers are billed directly for Dr. Isik's professional fees only and you will likely be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance carrier after the surgery, depending on the provisions detailed in your insurance plan for selecting an out-of-network physician. Our office will assist you with the forms necessary to apply for your reimbursement. The facility and anesthesia fees are considered separate from the professional fee and will be fully covered by your insurance. As insurance plans vary widely, we would encourage you to contact a representative of your insurance carrier to determine your specific plan benefits.
